CSV files to Office 365 account via Outlook ( File > Open & Export > Import/Export > Import from another program or file > Comma Separated Values.)
Export all contacts (or individual groups if you want to preserve those) from Gmail to Outlook CSV format (make sure you choose Outlook CSV, not Google CSV format). VCF file to Gmail Contacts (via web browser). I exported each group individually, but this is probably not required - it seems that group membership is preserved when you import. VFC format on a Mac via built-in Contacts (select all contacts > File > Export > Export vCard) Importing via dragging contact groups looked like it was working, but soon I discovered that it was skipping all data in custom contact fields that were not supported by Office 365 / Exchange.Īfter bunch of trial and error I eventually found a reliable way to import all contacts without loosing any data in custom fields: Unfortunately, neither of the buttons was responding and the only option left was to kill the Contacts app. Also, it would often show a message about a duplicate contact and prompt to skip, ignore, or cancel import. Contacts app was freezing, showing nonsensical error messages, crashing, etc. Importing large number of individual contacts this way simply didn't work reliably enough. I initially tried to import on a Mac via built-in contacts app by simply dragging and dropping individual contacts or contact groups. If this option isn’t there, you will have to set up your Outlook account individually on each phone like you did above.Importing contacts proved to be a bit more complicated. Tap on Calendars at the bottom, tap the ( i ) button next to the calendar you want to share, and then tap Add Person to share the calendar with others. Now, you should be able to see your calendar in your phone’s Calendar app. Switch the Calendar switch on and then turn the other switches off (unless you also want your Mail/Contacts/Notes synced with your phone). Once you’ve signed in, you’ll be presented with a few on/off switches. If you don’t see your Outlook account in the list, tap Add Account and then tap to sign in. 
If you see your Outlook account in the list, tap on the account name and then switch the "Calendars" switch to on. I would try adding it to your phone first and trying to share it with everyone, and if that doesn’t work then you can add the Outlook account to each phone.
I’m not totally sure if you can share it through family sharing, but at the very least you can add the calendar account to each of their phones.
